2026 will be a special year for Contessa celebrations as it marks the 60th anniversary of the Contessa brand, which began with the launch of the first Contessa 26 in 1966. There will be a CO26 event in April in Lymington to mark this milestone, followed by a larger celebration at the annual Royal Solent Yacht Club Contessa Regatta in June. This is a fantastic event for Contessas of all sizes and appeals to both racers and cruisers. It’s a great opportunity to get together and share the love—something we experienced in Holland this summer at a wonderful all-Contessa event, which we’re very keen to replicate here.

As if that weren’t enough, 2026 also marks the 50th anniversary of the Contessa 32 having its own start at Cowes Week—an extra special occasion in the 200th anniversary year of the first Cowes Week back in 1826. We’re hoping for some big numbers on the start line this year, so don’t forget to sign up for the early bird entry for both events!
